Placebo will return to Latin America in 2027 for a 10-date tour across six countries. Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal will begin the run on February 20 in São Paulo and remain in the region for nearly a month, continuing through Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico before wrapping up on March 18 in Monterrey. The band confirmed the itinerary through its official channels on September 21.
Argentina, Chile and Colombia will open fan presales on September 22, Peru will follow on September 23, while Brazil begins on September 29, with São Paulo excluded from the fan presale.
In Mexico, the fan presale starts September 22 at 11:00 a.m. local time and runs until midnight. General sales begin September 24 at 11:00 a.m. In Colombia, the fan presale opens September 22 at 9:00 a.m., followed by the general onsale on September 24 at 9:00 a.m.

The Latin American announcement arrives in the year Placebo celebrates 30 years since the release of its debut album. In June 2026, the band issued Placebo RE:CREATED, a reworking of the 1996 record built from the original recordings and revisited after three decades of performing the material live. The release includes newly approached versions of songs including “Come Home,” “Teenage Angst,” “36 Degrees,” “Nancy Boy” and “Bruise Pristine.”
The anniversary also brought Placebo back on the road in 2026 with shows focusing on their early catalog. Their European anniversary dates were announced with material from the first two records, including songs that had been absent from their live sets for years, although Placebo has not yet detailed what the 2027 Latin American setlist will include.
