After more than four decades of shaping industrial music, Ministry has officially announced that Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), arriving October 30 via Cleopatra Records, will be the band's final studio album. Alongside the announcement, Ministry has released the lead single "Burned Out," accompanied by a music video directed by Joshua Bradford, formerly of Revolting Cocks.
The announcement marks the conclusion of the groundbreaking project created by Al Jourgensen, who founded Ministry in 1981. Throughout its career, the band has released 17 studio albums, eight live releases, multiple side projects, documentaries, and toured across five continents, becoming one of the defining names in industrial metal.
Reflecting on the end of the band, Jourgensen said:
"I'm fucking done. I'm proud of what I've accomplished. I'm amazed at the path that it's taken, from With Sympathy to where we're at today, and all points in between. It's been quite a ride, but I'm completely at peace with the fact that it's done. It's time to herd goats."
Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) serves as Ministry's seventeenth and final studio album. The record also features one last collaboration with longtime member Paul Barker, who appears on the closing track "We're Still Here."
The album also includes contributions from the band's current lineup: guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D'Amour, keyboardist and sampler John Bechdel, and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.
The release will be available across multiple formats, including vinyl, CD, cassette, digital editions, several colored vinyl variants, and deluxe collector's box sets.
A Farewell Tour Begins in 2027
To support the album, Ministry will embark on an international farewell tour in 2027, performing songs from Hate To Go alongside classics spanning the band's entire catalog.
The first leg, the Goodbye Europe Tour, begins in April 2027 with legendary German industrial act Die Krupps as special guest. A full U.S. farewell tour will be announced at a later date.
European VIP packages will include a meet-and-greet with Al Jourgensen, a professional photo opportunity, commemorative laminate pass, exclusive silk-screen poster, and a collectible farewell tour coin.
Closing One of Industrial Music's Most Influential Chapters
From With Sympathy (1983) through landmark releases such as The Land of Rape and Honey, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste, and Psalm 69, Ministry helped redefine industrial music and profoundly influenced bands including Nine Inch Nails, Fear Factory, Rammstein, Static-X, and countless others.
With Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), Al Jourgensen brings one of heavy music's most influential careers to its official conclusion, closing a chapter that fundamentally shaped industrial metal for more than forty years.
