American musician Rob Zombie has unveiled the official video for “The Black Scorpion,” a new single taken from his latest album The Great Satan, released in 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. The release marks his return with new material after a five-year gap, signaling a renewed phase in his career.
The video, dominated by a green-tinted aesthetic and unsettling visual tone, accompanies a track that runs under two minutes. “The Black Scorpion” delivers a compact blend of punk and metal influences, emphasizing immediacy and intensity. It joins previously released songs such as “F.T.W. 84,” “(I’m a) Rock ’N’ Roller,” “Heathen Days,” and “Punks And Demons,” which collectively define the album’s direction.
The Great Satan continues the sonic path established throughout Zombie’s career while leaning more heavily into his Hellbilly-era roots. The album favors a tighter, more direct approach, reducing excess while maintaining the theatrical and visual identity that has long defined his work.

Alongside the new release, Zombie has confirmed a co-headlining summer 2026 tour with Marilyn Manson. The run, set to begin in August, will also feature The Hu and Orgy as supporting acts.
The tour signals a return to large-scale live performances, aligning with a period where studio output and touring activity converge. In this context, “The Black Scorpion” serves as a clear entry point into the new material, reinforcing continuity while adapting to a more concise format.
