Beartooth release “Free”, their first single since signing with Fearless Records

Beartooth lanza “Free”, su primer sencillo tras firmar con Fearless Records y el primer adelanto de una nueva etapa musical tras el álbum The Surface.

American metalcore band Beartooth have entered a new chapter in their career with the release of “Free”, their latest single and the first new music since the release of their 2023 album The Surface.

The song, released on February 27, also marks the band’s debut under Fearless Records, one of the most influential labels in modern heavy music.

The track was co-written and co-produced by vocalist Caleb Shomo alongside Jordan Fish, known for his work as keyboardist and producer with Bring Me The Horizon. The collaboration hints at a sonic evolution for the band while maintaining the emotional intensity that defines their sound.

Speaking about the song, Shomo said:

“Free is the beginning of the next chapter of my music and my life. Living can be a very complex emotional roller coaster; in a single day you can feel absolute fear and complete joy.”

According to Shomo, the track also serves as the gateway into Beartooth’s next album, which he describes as the most honest representation of his emotional state to date.

The signing with Fearless Records signals the start of a new creative partnership that will guide the band through this upcoming phase of their career.

Since their formation, Beartooth have become one of the most successful acts in modern metalcore, blending aggressive instrumentation with deeply personal lyrics that resonate with fans worldwide.

With “Free”, the band takes the first step into a new era that promises to expand their sound while preserving the emotional intensity that has defined their identity.
