Cemetery Skyline unveil new single “Nothing From This World” ahead of U.S. debut and Latin American tour

Cemetery Skyline release Nothing From This World, ahead of their U.S. debut and Latin American tour, with a video steeped in dark symbolism and powerful live performance.

Cemetery Skyline have released their latest single, “Nothing From This World,” as they prepare for their first-ever U.S. performance at ProgPower US and an upcoming short tour across Latin America.

Guitarist Markus Vanhala revealed that the track originates from the Nordic Gothic recording sessions: “This is an ‘old but new song’ that we kept hidden in our crypts for a later release, and now it’s time for it to rise. In the video, the dark heroine becomes empowered, decides to get dressed, and sings one last serenade to the dead. We don’t know what happened before, and we really don’t want to know.”

Vocalist Mikael Stanne elaborated on the lyrical theme: “The song is about being at odds with oneself. About feeling so disassociated that nothing makes sense anymore—where loneliness has overtaken the sense of community and togetherness.”

The video performance, filmed during the band’s sold-out Finnish tour in March, was enhanced visually by Jari Heino for Coldstore Productions, creating an evocative fusion of atmosphere and intensity.

With this release, Cemetery Skyline continue to cement their dark and atmospheric identity, marking an important milestone as they expand their reach into the U.S. and Latin America.
