Blackbrair releases new single, 'I Buried Us'

Dutch band Blackbriar release their new song “I Buried Us”, a powerful track that mixes crushing guitar riffs, soaring orchestral elements and raw, emotional vocals.

“‘I Buried Us’ captures the haunting aftermath of a buried love. In this song, I mentally dig a grave for a romance, but my imagination refuses to stay buried. I visualize the two of us together, side by side, six feet under, one heart rotting away, still yearning for each other’s warmth. In my mind, we’re still dancing in the afterlife, swirling through the ‘what ifs’ and the ‘could have beens,’” says singer Zora Cock.

“Some say there’s beauty in the darkness – terrifying visitors, distant worlds, gothic romances, chilling legends, sin-eaters, burning hearts frozen in time, songs with a deceptive voice and a truthful whisper. This and much more is for you to discover on A Dark Euphony.” These are the words of vocalist Zora Cock about the band’s second album, released in autumn 2023 on Nuclear Blast Records. A telltale sign from a band who have reveled in gothic beauty and metallic darkness since their inception, spanning three EPs and a full-length album, alongside long-time collaborator Joost van den Broek.
