The end of a legend has a date. Ozzy Osbourne will give the final concert of his career in ‘Back to Beginning’, a massive concert that will reunite him with the original members of Black Sabbath, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward, on July 5 at Villa Park in his native Birmingham to end it all, where it all began.
“It’s time to go back to the beginning… time to give back to where I was born,” says Ozzy. “I’m very lucky to be able to do it with the help of people I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham forever.”
In addition to the stellar band, the show will feature sets from Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon; as well as special performances by Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns 'n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde.
