Last Sunday, VNV Nation performed his first Drive-In show at the SEAT Cruise Inn from Hamburg. The band uploaded a video to their social networks showing that the attendees appreciated the show with the sound of the horns and the lights of their cars; however, there were also a large number of comments criticizing and mocking this new form of shows.
After that, the band reacted with a new publication directly attacking their haters:
"Reading the comments on the self-concert video, I was amazed. Some of you are really doing everything possible to screw up our attempt to find a way to do a concert, in a difficult moment, where the artists and their team cannot work. We literally cannot work. A few days ago I wrote about why we are doing this, but they don't care. Go and read it again.
You will not go (to the shows). We understand it and to tell the truth, we are happy about that. No one is telling you to go. No one forces you to do it. You would screw all the others. Many other people who will go. We have good reason to do this. If you are not going, you do not need to comment and try to ruin it to others, with your spoiled, obstinate and selfish vision of the world, where only the "I, I, I" matters.
