The famous actress Vera Famiga, remembered for her role in the horror film series The Conjuring, has begun a new facet in her career now as a metal singer with her own band, The Yagas.
The first single is called ‘The Crying Room’ and is out now. The video was directed by Matt Jones.
“Humans are capable of getting caught in our shadows from time to time. It is in this balance of dualities, one literally overshadowing the other, that we have the opportunity to look deep into our hearts and what is going on internally and bring it to light. No matter how dark it is,” says Famiga.
In addition to Vera Farmiga, The Yagas consists of her husband Renn Hawkey, drummer Jason Bowman, guitarist Mark Visconti and bassist Mike Davis.
