Icelanders Sólstafir are back with a new single called 'Hin Helga Kvöl'. Along with the song, the official video was also released, directed by Karl Ágúst Guðmundsson of Polarama. This is the band's first release with their new label, Century Media.
“It's a song about death. It's about realizing that you will die sooner rather than later and consciously witnessing the end of your own world. It is the personal idea that each one has of Ragnarök – or Armageddon. What happens next? Are we being reborn or are we simply food for the worms…?” says singer Aðalbjörn Tryggvason.
Sólstafir will be in Mexico as part of the 2024 edition of the Guanajuato festival Candelabrum Metal Fest which will take place on September 7 and 8 at Velaria de León. Tickets for the festival are now available.
