Sabaton y Apocalyptica lanzan nueva versión de ‘Angels Calling’

Saturday and Apocalytica They will go on tour together in Europe and therefore, both groups have joined forces in a new version of the song 'Angeles Calling ' and you can listen to it below. For now, it will be available only through YouTube and will be launched on streaming channels from January 17.

"Angels Calling" was the first song we wrote on the theme of the First World War for the album "Attero Dominatus" in 2006, and together with Apocalyptica we have really given new life to the song. Due to the song's theme, our recent album, upcoming tour, and high fan demand, the song is now back on our setlist for this new tour.

The song arrangements were made in August, when Apocalyptica visited our hometown, Falun, to perform at the Sabaton Open Air festival. It was recorded in the Black Lounge studios by Jonas Kjellgren and parts of Apocalyptica were later recorded in Finland. Richard Erixon, our longtime producer, captured the best moments from the Falun rehearsals and edited them into a music video for the song.

We wanted this tour to offer something that we had never done before, and when I attended an Apocalyptica show in Madrid a few years ago, I already had a solid vision for acting together, so I explained the idea to Apocalyptica and here we are, with the best show we have done to date. ”
