The new album will be out in the spring of 2015.
The finnish band Nightwish has officially announced that the first single from their new album will be called 'Élan' and will be released on February 13 in digital, CD and vinyl formats.

That phrase was the one that started the writing of 'Élan' according to the singer / keyboardist of Nightwish, Toumas Holopainen. “The theme of the song is neither more nor less than the meaning of life itself, which may be different for all of us. It is important to give yourself over to the "free fall" from time to time and never fear taking the road less traveled. 'Elan' is a great preview of the album, it gives you a little taste, but revealing a bit of the great journey that is to come… ”
