Dave Mustaine has reportedly entered the recording studio alongside producer Chris Rakestraw to begin working on Megadeth's new studio album, which is expected to be ready sometime in 2025.
This is not the first time that Megadeth has worked with Chris Rakestraw, as he is the same person who produced the albums ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’ and ‘Dystopia’.
For now, James LoMenzo, Teemu Mäntysaari and Dirk Verbeuren will not be part of the production; however, they will be persistently sending collaborations from their own locations before joining the studio.
‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’, Megadeth’s most recent album, was released on September 2, 2022.
