Italians Lacuna Coil have unveiled the official video for their latest single, ‘Gravity,’ the fifth track from their new studio album, ‘Sleepless Empire,’ which will be available on February 14 via Century Media.
The video was directed by Martina L. McLean and can be viewed below.
“It’s so hard to keep our balance when we’re going through desperate times, feeling lost and out of breath when we ask for help. How do we deal with difficult times? Do we ask for a hand? Or do we isolate ourselves from everything else and retreat into our own misanthropic, gilded cage? I hope you like ‘Gravity’ as much as we do and that it makes you reflect on the time we have left and how to use it wisely,” the band says.
The band shares about Sleepless Empire: “The album captures, through our eyes, the chaos of a generation trapped in a digital world that never stops, where social media consumes identity and every day pushes us one step closer to becoming soulless zombies.
We find ourselves in the middle, having witnessed a completely analogue world and the modern one, confronting evolution and searching for true meaning in it all. Throughout each song, the journey is an undercurrent of rebellion, a desperate cry to reclaim oneself in an era that seems to have lost its sense of time and reality.”
