Imperial Triumphant to headline New York’s Jazz From Hell Festival with Goldstar Metropole Orchestra

Imperial Triumphant will headline the Jazz From Hell Festival in New York on December 12, performing with the Goldstar Metropole Orchestra in a special career-spanning set.

New York avant-death metal trio Imperial Triumphant will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance on December 12, 2025, at the renowned Le Poisson Rouge in Manhattan as part of the Jazz From Hell Festival. For this occasion, they will be joined by the Goldstar Metropole Orchestra, a big band ensemble that will push their boundary-defying sound into bold new territory.

Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist reimagined with the power of horns and orchestration, blending the band’s signature dissonance with the decadence of a full brass ensemble. This promises to be an unprecedented fusion of experimental jazz and extreme metal.

Bassist and keyboardist Steve Blanco described the event vividly: “Imperial Triumphant drags the city’s underbelly into Le Poisson Rouge for Jazz From Hell — horns ablaze, brass dripping in decadence, a golden chaos where dissonance swings and the city trembles. This is Jazz From Hell dressed in gold and filth!”

The show will take place at 7:00 p.m. at 158 Bleeker Street, New York, NY, with tickets now available through the event’s official page. With limited capacity, this night is expected to stand as a landmark in the intersection of avant-garde music and extreme metal.

This fall, Imperial Triumphant will also join Igorrr for a European and UK tour, further cementing their reputation as one of today’s most visionary and uncompromising acts.
