Ensiferum have made official the announcement of their new studio album, 'Winter Storm' which will be available from October 18 via Metal Blade Records.
“The way I see it, this album is more like a ‘musical’ than a traditional album,” says bassist Sami Hinkka. “The lyrics of ‘Winter Storm’ are based on part of my unpublished fantasy book. Someday it will come out... I don't want to reveal too much of the plot or details, but 'Winter Storm Vigilantes' and 'Fatherland' talk about two factions in this long story.
