Amaranthe releases new single, 'Re-Vision'

Amaranthe, one of the most influential Modern Metal bands in Sweden, begins 2024 with a new single, a pop metal anthem called'Re-Vision'. With its electronic pulse, powerful riffs and irresistible hooks in the chorus, the track proves that Amaranthe is one of the most unique groups today.

“It's time to release The Catalyst's fourth single, 'Re-Vision', and this time, we're going all out. Heavy cyberpunk and synthwave beats colliding with the classic Amaranthe sound, in a memorable mix, that will surely serve as a permanent cybernetic implant in your brains. The prodigious video, made once again by our long-time collaborator Patric Ullaeus, serves as a perfect rallying point for 'Re-Vision', more ambitious and explosive than any other Amaranthe video to date! As the predictions of the 80s about artificial intelligence seem to be more real every day, we are ready to deliver you a cataclysmic and at the same time captivating walk into the future of Amaranthe: Re-Visioned.

The Catalyst is the most conceptually coherent work in the history of AMARANTHE. Dedicated to notions of transformation and revelation, it dives deeper into these themes than any other album by the band, as Olof Mörck himself explains.

“We've done these things before, but never as theatrically as now. In fact, we questioned whether we went too far this time, but at the same time, I came to the conclusion that this band has always been like this. Literally, the first few seconds of our first video are a huge explosion! But yes, The Catalyst is more theatrical than anything that came before. We were never really into orchestral or symphonic before, but this time we thought why not? We can do it! The key to this album is that we let go of all the limits and decided to venture even further."
