The sessions in the running of the bulls Oliver Sykes and the other members of Bring Me The Horizon have yielded results. The band released their new single this morning, 'Parasite Eve', which was accompanied by a video directed by him Sykes.
"Parasite Eve is our message of hope, wrapped in sadness and anger" He says Oliver about the song that is clearly inspired by the pandemic that has struck the world since the end of last year.
Welcome to 2020, apocalypse.
'Parasite Eve' is the first promotional cut of the next album of Bring Me The Horizon, which according to previous declarations of the singer, promises to be "very heavy", leaving behind the trend that his latest albums had presented.
"Parasite Eve came out of the idea of writing a 'survival horror' song, but as the pandemic began to unfold, the parallels were so obvious that it was best to leave them out. As time went by, we began to feel how relevant it was and that instead of avoiding it, we should approach the dark side, embrace it and process what is happening… ” continuous Sykes.
The band's new album does not yet have a name or a stipulated release date, but is expected to see the light before the end of 2020.
