Whitechapel cancels Latin American tour due to mental health

American deathcore band Whitechapel announced the complete cancellation of their Latin American tour scheduled for the last week of November due to mental health issues of their singer, Phil Bozeman.

“I regret to inform all of our Mexican, Costa Rican and South American fans that Whitechapel will not be able to embark on our upcoming tour due to several mental health issues I’ve been having over the past few months. I’m so sorry. I was hoping to be able to keep going for all of you, but it’s best for me to take a step back and use this time to be home and get the help I need. This is a small setback for us, but we will be back. Your support is so important. Remember, we’re all human and we need to admit to ourselves and the people we love when we need help. Please take care of each other,” Bozeman said in a statement.

The other band that will be part of the tour, Thy Art is Murder, will continue to perform on the indicated dates except for Costa Rica.
