White Stones, the alternate band of Opeth bassist Martín Mendéz presents a new single, 'La Ira', an appetizer for the band's third album, 'Living Memory' which will be available starting June 28 through Reigning Phoenix Music.
“‘La Ira’ is a song that reflects on the power that greed has over our minds. The awakening of 'The Anger' refers to our instinctive reaction to choices that affect humanity and life itself. It is a song of hope; the hope of decisions to improve the world in which we live,” explains Médéz.
‘Memoria Viva’ was recorded at Farm Of Sounds Studios (Barcelona, Spain) and mixed and mastered by Gerard Porqueres at Heartwork Recording Studios.
“Making an album in Spanish is something I've wanted to do for a long time. We tried it with our second album “Dancing Into Oblivion”, but at the time we couldn't convince ourselves that it would work on that album. This time we did it and I feel very proud of the result,” says Martín.
