Evanescence has released the official video for his second single, 'The Game Is Over', song included in his next studio album, 'The Bitter Truth', the first with totally original music in almost a decade.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the video was filmed in the home of each of its members with their respective smartphones and directed with the help of the renowned direct PR Brown.
“This song is about being sick of having a facade. The costumes we wear to make others feel comfortable, our inner feelings are so different from what we show on the outside just to fit within the bounds of what is socially acceptable.
“'The Game Is Over' is a promise to myself and I say it out loud that I am going to be someone closer to my real self, not shutting myself up because I can no longer be contained. It is also a prayer to improve, not to feel so messy, locked up and hurt inside. ”
