The iconic Vans Warped Tour, recognized as one of the most influential festivals in punk, alternative metal and skate culture, has officially announced its return for 2026. After years of absence, the tour’s comeback rekindles the spirit of community, rebellion and creative diversity that defined an entire era of alternative music. Staying true to its nomadic roots, the upcoming edition brings back the multi-city format that made the festival a cultural landmark.
The 2026 route includes stops in Washington D.C. (June 13–14), Long Beach, California (July 25–26), Montreal, Quebec (August 21–22), Mexico City (September 12–13) and Orlando, Florida (November 14–15). These cities represent vibrant hubs for punk, hardcore, metalcore and emo scenes, maintaining Warped Tour’s tradition of showcasing both established artists and rising talent.
One of the most celebrated announcements is the festival’s return to Mexico City, a location historically known for its massive and passionate crowds. Its inclusion reinforces the growing importance of the Latin American alternative scene on the global touring map and suggests potential regional expansion in future editions.
While the full lineup remains under wraps, the Warped Tour has long been associated with eclectic bills blending legendary acts and breakthrough artists. With its 2026 revival, the festival promises to reconnect generations of fans and reestablish its role as a cornerstone of modern alternative music culture.
