Finnish industrial metal masters Turmion Kätilöt have just released 'Schlachter', their new single that marks the band's debut singing in German. The song also features the special collaboration of Chris Harms, vocalist of Lord of the Lost.
'Schlachter', which means “butcher” in German, explores the brutality of the act of slaughter, both literally and metaphorically, addressing themes such as mental and social heartbreak and destruction. According to MC Raaka Pee, the idea for the song came from a desire to revisit the past and remix 'Teurastaja', the band's first single. The result, as usual, took on epic proportions and was transformed into a new single, sung in German and with lyrics by Chris Harms that reflects the climate of the world today.“The blow of the hammer can take you anywhere!”, completes MC Raaka Pee.
