Trivium has officially announced their forthcoming EP Struck Dead, a three-track offering packed with intensity and melodic ferocity. The first single, accompanied by an official video, is “Bury Me With My Screams”, setting the tone for the band’s next chapter.
Recorded entirely at their own Hangar Studios in Orlando, Florida, the EP was produced by Trivium and longtime collaborator Mark Lewis, with mixing and mastering by Josh Wilbur. The result is a polished, razor-sharp metal statement true to the band’s legacy.
Struck Dead—due October 31 via Roadrunner Records—features:
- Bury Me With My Screams
- Struck Dead (Pain Is Easier To Remember)
- Six Walls Surround Me
“Bury Me With My Screams” stands out as both a visceral single and a deeply emotional expression, channeling frontman Matthew Heafy’s recent personal and creative struggles into a blistering sonic release.
Coinciding with the EP’s launch, Trivium will embark on their “Ascend Above The Ashes” North American tour starting October 31 in Myrtle Beach and concluding December 14 with a hometown show in Orlando. Support comes from Jinjer and Heriot, following a successful string of European festival appearances.
