Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross plan new album for Nine Inch Nails

In a new interview with GQ , the two minds behind the latest works of Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, have spoken about the creation of a new album by the band.

“Working on soundtracks has made creating things for Nine Inch Nails exciting again compared to what it has been in recent years,” Reznor says. “I kind of allowed it to atrophy a little bit in my mind for a variety of reasons.”

For his part, Atticus confirmed the idea, “Right now, I'm feeling excited to get started on [NIN's] next album. “I think now we are at the exact point where we already have an idea.”

Additionally, the pair have been planning things that will revolve around things other than music, but this isn't a biopic either. “We've been working on some things with the intellectual property around Nine Inch Nails, with stories we could tell, and we're working to develop them in a way that's not what you think they would be.
