Finnish band The Rasmus are back with their new single, ‘Creatures of Chaos’, which is now available on all digital platforms via Better Noise Music and Playground Music.
The official video for the song, directed by Aleksei Kulikov, is now available.
“‘Creatures of Chaos’ is a global invitation to all misfits and anyone who has ever felt excluded to join us!” exclaims the band’s singer, Lauri Ylönen. “The world is in chaos right now. I felt I needed to push myself musically to reflect my feelings of loss, fear, and discomfort. People are so divided in their opinions that I look to people like me for hope and unity. It’s important to belong somewhere and stand up for your opinions. ‘Creatures of Chaos’ is a call to all those who, like us, come together.”
Lauri composed the song with Desmond Child and Marti Fredriksen, who had collaborated with the band on the band's previous albums "Black Roses" and "Rise." "Creatures of Chaos" was recorded at Fredriksen's Sienna Studios in Nashville. Joseph McQueen handled additional production, and the track was mixed and mastered at Sparrow Sound in Los Angeles.
