Multi-platinum rock outfit The Pretty Reckless have returned with their brand-new single “For I Am Death,” a track that sets the tone for what promises to be a bold and unpredictable artistic chapter.
Speaking about the release, frontwoman Taylor Momsen explained: “With ‘For I Am Death’ I want the music to speak for itself, allowing the listener to decide what it means to them. The interpretation might align with mine or come directly from the audience’s heart. Either way, I’m excited to see what people take from it and what it will mean to each of them. Oh, and rock and roll will never die.”
The single arrives with a haunting video directed by Lewis Cater, where Momsen takes on a malevolent persona, embodying death itself as she’s surrounded by sinister forces. The imagery reflects the energy and mindset that inspired the song’s creation.
The release follows a massive global run as support on AC/DC’s Power Up stadium tour across North America and Europe, where The Pretty Reckless played to more than three million fans at iconic venues including Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl, Chicago’s Soldier Field, London’s Wembley Stadium, and Paris’ Stade de France.
