Modern metalcore act The Narrator have released the official music video for their new single “Two Lives”, offering a first glimpse into their upcoming studio album Phosphor.
The track blends melodic hooks with a powerful chorus that gradually builds toward a crushing metalcore finale. Lyrically, the song captures the emotional turmoil of a generation caught between two worlds, exploring the tension, pressure and internal conflict that accompany that reality.
Alongside the single, the band has unveiled a new music video that visually reflects the emotional intensity and thematic depth of the track.
The Narrator’s highly anticipated second album Phosphor will be released on May 8, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records. The record follows their acclaimed debut Lore, which helped establish the band within the modern metalcore scene.
The album will feature ten songs that respond to the emotional exhaustion caused by global uncertainty, balancing themes of hope and self-destruction while exploring the psychological weight of contemporary life.
Through Phosphor, the band also reflects on the passage of time and the unsettling awareness of life’s impermanence, delivering an intense modern metal sound driven by atmosphere, aggression and emotional depth.
