After 6 years, Finnish-Australian metal quartet The Eternal breaks the silence by presenting the first single taken from their seventh studio album, 'Skinwalker' , due out June 28, 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
“Lyrically, ‘Deathlike Silence’ delves into the heart of human relationships, exploring the poignant theme of two individuals drifting apart. Through evocative storytelling, the song captures the disorienting confusion and deafening silence that accompanies the unraveling of lives that were once intertwined. Silence becomes its own powerful language, which speaks volumes in its absence, echoing the unsaid words and the unfulfilled promises that persist in the void,” the band explains.
The band's seventh studio album,'Skinwalker', promises a continuation of their rich musical legacy and yet will be a defining creative moment for the band. The album features several notable guest appearances including Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis), Santeri Kallio (Amorphis), Sami Yli-Sirniö (Kreator) and award-winning singer Albert Kuvezin (Yat-Kha), to name a few.
