Christian metal icons STRYPER will release their first Christmas album, The Greatest Gift Of All, on November 21, 2025 via Frontiers Music. The record features ten tracks: five brand-new originals and five reimagined classics, including updated versions of “Reason For The Season” and “Winter Wonderland”.
To mark the announcement, the band has unveiled a new recording of “Winter Wonderland” accompanied by a lyric video. Earlier this year, they released “Still The Light” as the first preview of the album.
Frontman and guitarist Michael Sweet said the idea was to craft a record that combined tradition with originality: “We wanted to record five traditional songs and five new songs, with our own twist. Fans have asked for this since 1985, and now it’s finally here.”
Original tracks include “On This Holy Night”, with a heavier and darker edge, and “The Greatest Gift Of All”, a more uptempo track with power-pop and punk nuances. The album merges STRYPER’s classic sound with their modern style, tuned lower and featuring harmonized guitar solos throughout.
The Greatest Gift Of All will be available exclusively in physical formats, turning it into a collectible piece for fans. This long-awaited project fulfills a promise dating back to the band’s earliest days, adding a festive yet powerful entry to their discography.
