Starting May 7, you can listen to 'Aeterna', the new solo single from Epica singer Simone Simons. The song is part of her album ' Vermillion ' which she made together with Ayreon and will be available from August 23 via Nuclear Blast Records.

After a successful career with Epica, which includes eight acclaimed albums and international tours, Simone has finally found the ideal moment to embark on a new challenge: her long-awaited solo album. “Vermillion”, the result of 15 years of dedication and artistic maturity, is a masterpiece that reflects the essence of this multifaceted artist.

When asked about the decision to launch her solo project at this time, the Dutch singer responds with a captivating smile: “Epica will always be my priority, and I have the freedom to explore other musical paths in parallel. However, I have never had the opportunity to dedicate myself to a solo project in such depth. Some ventures require patience and time to mature, and this is one of them.”
