Sharon Osbourne has spoken about the most recent advances in the health of the former Black Sabbath singer, Ozzy Osbourne and in addition to ensuring that there is improvement , says that her husband could basically survive the nuclear holocaust, along with a couple of companions.
“He is doing very well. Every time I take a trip to England, Ozzy has wanted to come and every time something happens that means he can't come. I just don't want to take him out into the cold because that kind of weather is not good for people with Parkinson's because the muscles tense up, so I say 'not on this trip' and it will have to be when it's a little warmer," he says. . “But Ozzy has nine lives and he's not going anywhere. If a bomb fell, the cockroaches, Keith Richards and Ozzy would survive.”
He also confirmed that Ozzy and his family will permanently move to England and will only return to their current residence in the United States to greet their acquaintances. “The older you get, the more you want to get back to your roots and that's Birmingham. There's so much Ozzy and Black Sabbath there that we can't not come back. We're working on a music school at the moment, with all the Ozzy memorabilia there (55 years of memories) and they also have Black Sabbath Bridge, The Bench and Ozzy the Bull. “It’s all so amazing and it means a lot to him.”
Sharon is also planning to open a museum of memorabilia of the former Black Sabbath singer in her hometown of Birmingham.
“I've been busy trying to collect Ozzy memorabilia for the memorabilia museum we're opening in Birmingham,” Sharon said on the latest episode of her podcast, 'The Osbournes.' “We are going to have all of his awards in the museum, all of his clothes that he wore on stage, old posters from his first performances with Black Sabbath. “There are so many memories.”
“We're going to make it totally interactive: every video, every Ozzy live show, everything will be there. It's more of an educational thing for musicians and artists who want to see that you can come from nothing, and if you work hard enough, this is what you can achieve. We are going to have a cafeteria and there we will have all the instruments you can think of. Music students can come and we will teach music classes, because there is no music in schools anymore. We are going to get friends and other musicians to come teach,” he concluded.
