Serj Tankian has announced that he will release a new solo single and its respective video'A.F. Day', out Friday, May 17 via Gibson Records. The song is now available for pre-sale on the main streaming platforms and you can see a preview of the video below.
‘A.F. Day' will also appear on Serj's upcoming EP titled 'Foundations', which will be released in fall 2024. “This is a song which I wrote in the early days of System of a Down and never released. Most of the instrumentation and vocals are recordings from that era. With dystopian humor, it is a reflection of the anguish and anti-authoritarian attitude I had towards conformism,” says Tankian.
