Sigurd 'Satyr' Wongraven, lead singer of the black metal band Satyricon has reached an agreement to sell the 90% your wine company, Wongraven Wines.
The buyer is the company Vingruppen, who paid Wongraven a total of 51.3 million Norwegian kroner, equivalent to 5.7 million dollars or about 130 million Mexican pesos. Nothing bad.
For now, the singer did not want to comment on the sale of the company that he founded in 2012 and that during the last five years brought him income of 6.6 million Norwegian kroner (about 650 thousand euros).
In addition, the quality of the wine is said to be quite good, so much so that the two varieties it produces obtained quite decent scores in the tests that the Merete Bø house carried out: the Wongraven Alleanza Langhe Rosso BIB Italian-made obtained 83 points out of 100 possible points, and the German Wongraven Morgenstern Riesling BIB, obtained 84 points.
So you know, black metal may not make you a millionaire, but selling wine does.
