Ryujin releases video, 'Saigo No Hoshi'

Japanese Ryujin have released the official video for their new single, 'Saigo No Hoshi', which will be included in their self-titled album that comes out on January 12 via Napalm Records .

“This is our first ballad, so it's very special for us. This song is about a samurai who almost died after the war, thinking about his family and praying for peace. Currently there are also many very sad wars happening on the planet, families are being separated, etc. I put that feeling into it. Additionally, I invite everyone to enjoy Mr. Mukai's outstanding cello performance. The album also includes a version sung by Matthew in English, so I'm curious to see which version people will like more!”

Combining Japanese and English lyrics and featuring the production and collaborations of Matthew Kiichi Heafy (Trivium) on several songs, the fast riffs and dizzying guitar solos of Ryujinare combined with traditional Japanese elements from ancient, Japanese orchestral gakaku style to modern anime themes.
