Rock and metal icon Rob Zombie has unveiled “Heathen Days,” the latest single from his highly anticipated new album The Great Satan, set for release on February 27 via Nuclear Blast Records. The track signals a deliberate return to the explosive, groove-driven sound that defined Zombie’s rise, fueled by distorted riffs and an unmistakable Hellbilly attitude.
“Heathen Days” arrives accompanied by a music video directed by Zombie himself, showcasing his trademark visual identity—dark, vivid, chaotic and cinematic. The imagery mirrors the song’s themes, evoking a time when chaos, violence and instability were constantly lurking, amplifying the track’s visceral and unapologetically raw spirit.
Following the success of The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy (2021), which climbed into the Top 10 worldwide, Zombie’s eighth studio album promises to push even further into the fusion of heavy rock, punk energy and theatrical aesthetics. The Great Satan is shaping up to be one of his most aggressive and bold releases to date, reconnecting with the grit and rebellion of his earliest eras.
The album is now available for pre-order in multiple formats, including a limited edition box set and accompanying apparel. With “Heathen Days,” Rob Zombie reasserts his position as one of the most imaginative and influential forces in modern heavy music, opening the door to what may be his most uncompromising era yet.
