If yours is the subject of the UFO phenomenon, abductions, life beyond our planet; and you are also a fan of deathcore, surely you already know Rings Of Saturn. But if not, you are missing one of the most original bands in the genre.
To begin with, it must be said that when the project started, there was no intention as such to be a band and tour the world. Just like conspiracy theories about reptilians and life on the far side of the moon - which probably were born in a dining room talk until they became massive - the project began as a simple preparatory study project by Lucas Mann, Peter Pawlak and Brent Silletto. “Abducted” fue el nombre del track that young people launched into the network and that it gained enormous popularity; which made them finish without the help of any record label.
“Embryonic Anomaly”It was his first work released in 2010, a real achievement considering that at that time we are still talking about teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 taking their cosmic-mental jackets to a full-length album.
His work was gaining adherents and in the end it caught the attention of Unique Leader Records Those who signed them to commercially distribute the album since March 2011, and thus become a full-time band that once graduated from their high school studies, was ready for life on tour. For this they recruited as second guitarist to Joel Omans, thus complementing initial training as such Rings Of Saturn. However and soon after so much Silleto how Pawlak They would leave the project so the band would continue on its way with multiple spare parts to play live. With all this, the band was able to work on “Dingir”His second job, which was due to be released in 2012, but had to be officially released until the first quarter of 2013 due to a legal problem in which other guys were fighting over the copyright of the band's name. This did not stop Mann and company who, in order not to lose projection and continue gaining followers, posted their complete album on youtube, in total free download deathcore.com and even, all the guitar scores with free access.
The band was gaining more and more followers, allowing it to launch its third album in 2014 “Lugal Ki En” -in Sumerian “Rey del mundo cósmico”-; an ode to recount a true alien space invasion of our planet. The album had the participation of Aaron Kitcher of Infant Anihilator on the drums, and very interesting things like a cover to Suicide Silence as a tribute to the deceased mitch Lucker with the song “No Pity For a Coward”, as well as the contribution on the guitars of the famous Rusty cooley at track “Infused”. All this together positioned the album as his most successful work to date, selling more than 3,000 copies in its first week. However, it also meant the breakdown of Mann with Omans.
At the time of touring, the band reported that they would not be playing any songs from this work since by separately recording their instruments and compiling them for the final work they had not had time to rehearse. However, later Omans would explode announcing that the real reason was that Mann never had the disposition to learn the songs, and for that reason Omans left the band. Mann in response I would upload a video playing “Godless Times” already with the replacement of OmansAnd six months later he would continue his tour now if he played more than half of the songs on the live album. This tour would certainly bring them to Mexico for the first time.
Rings Of Saturn He continued his career and launched his fourth and most recent job in 2017. “Ultu Ulla”, which would eventually become a real commercial meteor from the hand of its new record label Nuclear Blast, with more than 8000 copies sold in one week and reaching 76th place on the Billboard chart. The album of course continues with the art and theme of extraterrestrial life and curiously marks the return of Omans to alignment.
As part of his tour to promote this latest work, Rings Of Saturn is presented on September 8 at the Lunario of the National Auditorium, next to Ocean.
