Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe has lashed out at billionaire Tesla/X owner and now U.S. official Elon Musk after the businessman made a gesture that many called fascist during Donald Trump's inauguration as president.
Through her official Instagram account, Blythe wrote:
“It’s taken me a couple of days to figure it out. I’ve tried to consider all the angles. Is he really a Nazi? Maybe he’s just trying to be a troll? Maybe he’s so socially awkward he can’t control himself? Who really knows? That fucker is weird. But one thing is completely obvious: he’s a fucking moron. Does Elon Musk have Asperger’s? Oh, I definitely think so. That doesn’t mean he’s not a complete moron; the two things aren’t mutually exclusive, by the way. For fuck’s sake, he named his kid ‘X Æ A-Xii.’ Who would do that to a kid who isn’t a moron?”
I know a few people with autism, none of whom have ever remotely reminded me of Hitler. Even if it was an autism-induced mistake, he refuses to admit it, and that tells us all we need to know. Because, you see, that’s what people with properly calibrated moral compasses do: they admit their mistakes. Supposedly Musk may become an actual government employee at some point, meaning we the people will pay his salary — not that he needs to, really. So, as a tax-paying citizen of the United States, I have a request for the 47th President Trump: Please return your ketamine-laden pet monkey to its cage so it can do things it’s fit for — obviously, appearing in public is not one of them.
