Phobia and Anarchus in Mexico City: A Grindcore Drunk

90

"Borrachos Tour" is the name of the tour that embarked 2 true legends of the grindcore as they are Phobia and Anacrhus for 3 cities in our country. For Mexico City, the place chosen for drunkenness was the Bolívar Room, where beer and metal gave an explosive combination of adrenaline and extreme rhythms. The pre-cup of the night would be carried out by groups of the caliber of Decomposed Society, Into Sickness and Dumbass.

Late at 10 and a fraction of the night, the first bottle of the party would come with a national label.

Like good agave distillates, Anarchus and his seniority scratches classily the throats of those present opening with "Life" and immediately people respond by jumping, dancing and asking for their favorite songs like Silenced Victims , "War is Peace" and "Everybody Guilt But Ours". "We all live in one way or another under the yoke of a dictating democracy", sentence Pancho from the microphone before playing Democracy Dictatorship, and then take flight with Imperial Nightmare and his first demo "Vomit in the Church".

People are delivered with Pancho, the legendary vocalist who, with his shaved head and giving an introductory speech prior to most of the songs, has people in his fist, who now fully enjoy other great classics such as Soldiers Never Win and "The Last Stand". Down below the vibe is aggressive and on the dance floor punks and grindcore lovers viciously hit each other with kicks and malicious elbows to the beat of "Defenders of Freedom and Democracy", Ishavet Kaller and "Not to be Defeated"; for what Anarchus decide to close the night with "Intervention" and Jesuschrist. People applaud them and are so happy with the act of Anarchus that the Mexicans decide to give away a “caballito” more than grindcore Aztec, and with a few more songs they say goodbye now if they are on stage.

It is time for import corkage, and from the US it makes its appearance Phobia which immediately converts the Bolivar Room on a battlefield with "Bring the War" and especially with the drill "So Full of Hate". The following songs are Blind Arrogance and Means of Exist, and the slam is nourished much more with fans who want to experience the wave firsthand grindcore that is unleashed ending up worse than undead with Corpse Slayer. "Rehased" and its chorus with a high-pitched bellow lengthening this word tests the vocal chords of people who try to imitate the sound coming from the musicians, and then Fuck What You Think and served in a frozen jar Beer Break keep pulsations and aggressions like foam. Fans enjoy the show with everything, and even take time to ask for a touch "The microbite" jokingly for the song by the mexican pop rock band Phobia, homophone of the stellar. Sure, the gringos don't understand the joke and prefer to ignore it.

"If You Use To Be a Punk"and its more hardcore sound make everyone jump so that later the hellish party gets heavy again with "Party in Hell". Who gets the attention of the night is Shane "The Pain", the imposing and tattooed vocalist of the band who has a truly impressive voice and that goes from the bellowing highs to the vomiting gutturals with an amazing ability as evidenced in songs like Selfish Minds, "Sick Life" and maybe the quietest moment of the night Devotion. "Contradiction" and the drumming that announces the beginning of Rise Up The adrenaline is raised again to the highest level, and even within the press area a photographer makes words with one of the guests at the backstage of Phobia and is expelled from the exclusive space: Phobia they have the job of inciting violence to anyone.

Killed up and "Get Up And Kill" (whose chorus reminds me a lot of Dead By Down of Deicide as for the rhythm) were the songs programmed to conclude the event according to the setlist written on a cardboard, but the Americans want to binge and hangover and after a short pause they return to give us away "Damaged", one of his most recent songs and "Nothing Changes". And in case you needed one more drink to finish "healing it", Phobia come back again to "Rape Theft Murder", and with a historic dove with Pancho of Anarchus included, give now if the last drink of grindcore of an unforgettable binge for the genius briagos.
