The Rock N'Roll Hall of Fame organization has announced the new artists who will join its extensive list, including the legendary singer of Black Sabbath and one of the central figures in the history of heavy metal: Ozzy Osbourne. The induction ceremony will take place on October 19.

- A Tribe Called Quest
- Alexis Korner
- MC5
- Suzzane de Passe
- Big Mama Thorton
- Dionne Warwick
- Norman Whitfield
Ozzy Osbourne stated: “My solo career has been a much bigger part of my overall music career, so this feels more special. Not bad for a guy who was fired from his last band,” in addition to claiming to feel very honored by the recognition.
