Swedish progressive metal titans Opeth have officially announced their long-awaited return to Latin America as part of The Last Will and Testament Tour, a run of shows set to take place in November 2026 in support of their newest studio album.
The tour includes five major dates: November 1 in Santiago, Chile, November 3 in Buenos Aires, November 6 in São Paulo, November 8 in Bogotá, and November 11 in Mexico City, where the band will perform at Arena Ciudad de México. Each concert is conceived as an immersive experience, blending Opeth’s darker, progressive, and emotionally charged soundscapes.
The Last Will and Testament represents a new chapter in Opeth’s sonic evolution, diving deeper into complex arrangements, somber atmospheres, and a strong conceptual narrative. Live, the new material is woven together with carefully selected classics from across the band’s catalog, creating a setlist that bridges their extreme roots with their modern progressive identity.
With more than three decades of career behind them, Opeth have established themselves as one of the most influential bands in modern metal, celebrated for their constant reinvention and artistic ambition. This Latin American tour once again highlights the strong bond between the band and their passionate fanbase throughout the region.
The Mexico City date stands out as one of the most anticipated stops on the tour, both for the scale of the venue and for the special relationship Opeth has cultivated with Mexican audiences over the years. The Last Will and Testament Tour is set to deliver an intense, refined, and deeply emotional live experience for Latin American fans.
