Within metal, that means Judas Priest, who throughout more than five decades of career have defined and guided the path for countless other bands who have found in them, someone to admire and admire. influence that one should try to emulate.
A little less than a month after the release of his nineteenth studio album, 'Invincible Shield', we had the opportunity to talk again with guitarist Richie Faulkner who told us about the production process of this new material, the great experience that the Californian Power Trip festival meant and how long - according to him - the band will be with us.
“I always knew that Judas Priest had a massive effect on music and the way heavy metal sounds now. That sound is thanks to the enormous work that Priest and other bands did for decades. Power Trip was a great celebration of that. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Tool… they are all bands that have shaped metal as it is today, so it was great to have that experience,” he says.
