With the release of their final studio album scheduled for January 23, Megadeth have announced a one-of-a-kind event for fans: LET THERE BE SHRED: The Ultimate Megadeth Immersive Listening Event, set for Saturday, January 17 in La Vergne, Tennessee, just outside Nashville.
Designed as an exclusive, day-long celebration, the event offers fans unprecedented access to the band’s creative world. Dave Mustaine, alongside Teemu Mäntysaari, James LoMenzo, and Dirk Verbeuren, will guide attendees through an intimate journey celebrating Megadeth’s legacy.
The program features a rare acoustic performance, showcasing songs from the upcoming album alongside classic tracks, highlighting the band’s songwriting and musicianship in an uncommon format.
A key highlight will be the Megadeth Master Class, where band members break down iconic riffs, songwriting approaches, tones, and performance techniques that shaped their sound over decades.
The event will also include an exclusive conversation between Dave Mustaine and Gibson CEO Cesar Gueikian, focusing on Dave’s signature guitars, his role as a Gibson ambassador, and a special announcement revealed only to attendees.
Additional elements include a band Q&A, a full immersive playback of the new album, interactive themed spaces, tastings of Megadeth Beer and House of Mustaine Wine, an exclusive merch kit, individual photo with the band, and various contests and giveaways.
With extremely limited capacity, Let There Be Shred stands as a landmark event marking the closing chapter of one of metal’s most influential bands.
