Lorna Shore release I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me with emotional video for Glenwood

Lorna Shore release I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me alongside the emotional video for Glenwood, inspired by Will Ramos’ journey to reconnect with his estranged father.

American quintet Lorna Shore have today unveiled their fifth studio album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, via Century Media Records, alongside the release of the moving video for “Glenwood”, directed by Dylan Hryciuk. The song depicts vocalist Will Ramos’ deeply personal attempt to reconnect with his estranged father after years of silence.

Ramos explained that the song was a long time in the making: “My father and I never had a good relationship. I wrote songs in my teens out of frustration, but nothing filled the void. Over time, I realized that what I truly wanted was to return to the house I grew up in and try to knock on his door again”.

Describing the reunion, Ramos recalled: “The tree I was once the branch of had changed. He was older, with wrinkles and white hair. The house was the same, but dustier, stranger. I finally understood that while I was growing up, so was he. Pride cost me years I will never get back.” With “Glenwood,” Ramos hopes listeners reflect on their own fractured relationships and ask if long-held anger is truly worth it.

The album also features the previously released singles “Oblivion,” “Unbreakable,” and “Prison Of Flesh.” As the follow-up to the groundbreaking Pain Remains (2022), the record reinforces Lorna Shore’s status as one of extreme metal’s most forward-thinking and emotionally charged acts.

Completed by Adam De Micco (lead guitar), Austin Archey (drums), Andrew O’Connor (rhythm guitar), and Michael Yager (bass), the band have amassed hundreds of millions of streams, viral chart placements, and sold-out tours. With I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, they continue to torch the rulebook, demanding new standards across genres while grounding their chaos in raw human truth.
