Leprous releases single, 'Atonement'

Norwegians Leprous have officially released 'Atonement', the first promotional cut from their eighth studio album, Melodies of Atonement which will be available from August 30 via InsideOutMusic.

Below, you can see the official video for 'Atonement', recorded in Poland with director Dariusz Szermanowicz.

“The beginning of the songwriting process for the new album began right after our Aphelion tour in March of last year,” says Solberg. “The goal of that album was to remove all the orchestral elements and focus everything on the actual members of the band. I will delve into the symphonic parts later in my solo project. It's certainly a change for Leprous. The objective was to be more direct and purer, in a way, to highlight our qualities more while adding fewer external things.”
