Bands retiring and then announcing a reunion tour is becoming more and more common and a pretty juicy business. And apparently, Twisted Sister's turn to do the same is approaching according to singer Dee Snider.
In a recent interview with The Hook Rocks!, Snider spoke about the possibility and stated that they have juicy offers that are difficult to reject. “We haven't played for eight years now and we have no intention of returning. My father said that anything said after the word “but” is stupid, but there comes a time when you ask yourself, “How can I say no to that?” he says. “Do we already have something arranged? No. Is the possibility close? Yes. And if the figure arrives, as it seems it will, the question is how will we do it? We already have talks about that.
So, well, for us the conversation has already gone from “never” to “what if the offer comes that we cannot refuse, how will we do it?” And the discussion is already at the point that includes personal trainers, diets and hair extensions [laughs]. “It is the first time in eight years that the conversation about it has taken a turn.”
Twister Sister officially retired in 2016; However, after these statements it is practically a fact that we will see them again on stage in the not so distant future.
