Almost seven years after their first visit, the Finns OmniumGatherum will be in Mexico again for their first tour as headliners performing their greatest hits and the songs from their most recent album production.
“I don't think music is a competition,” the singer Jukka Pelkonen tells us in an exclusive interview, “The other bands do their things and we do ours. Everyone is trying to do their best to survive as a band and succeed. I wish nothing but the best for everyone. That's how it should be. We have a huge abundance of metal bands in Finland and that's a huge benefit. If anyone else sees it from a competition perspective, that's fine, we're not scared of that one bit. We're not thinking 'we're going to beat them all,' because obviously we're going to beat them all, but we're still good people.”
