For the third time, Iron Maiden have been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 17 nominees for the Class of 2026 were unveiled on February 25, marking another opportunity for the legendary British act after previous nominations in 2021 and 2023.
Eligible since 2004, Maiden’s absence from the Hall has long sparked debate among metal fans. With over 130 million albums sold worldwide and currently celebrating their 50th anniversary on a global tour, the band remains one of heavy music’s most enduring forces.
