Ice Nine Kills releases single, ‘A Work of Art’ for the film ‘Terrifier 3’

Ice Nine Kills have released their new single, ‘A Work of Art’, the official song from the highly-anticipated horror sequel Terrifier 3. Along with the single, the band have released a gory new 14-minute extended version music video.

The video can be viewed below, but you must be of legal age to do so.

The original video version debuted in over 300 theaters nationwide during an exclusive, one-night-only screening of Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3 in U.S. theaters last night.

The music video, a cinematic spectacle in itself, is directed by longtime collaborator Jensen Noen and features performances by David Howard Thornton (the infamous Clown Art from Terrorizer), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2), Shavo Odadjian (Seven Hours After Violet), Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin, and Vincent Rockwell, as well as Richard Christy (drummer for Death, Control Denied, and Charred Walls of the Damned). The video also features Shavo Odadjian (of System Of A Down and Seven Hours After Violet), who contributed his legendary bass playing to the song. The video’s special effects were created by Academy Award winner Christopher Nelson (American Horror Story, Halloween 2018, Suicide Squad, Kill Bill). True to the style of Ice Nine Kills, the video not only delivers an unprecedented amount of gore and an unmatched kill count, but also appears to be setting the stage for a new chapter in the Ice Nine Kills cinematic universe, with the additional footage shown in the extended version.

“Creating a song for Terrifier 3 is like stepping into the ultimate horror playground. The film and our new single, “A Work of Art,” reflect the same twisted, relentless energy that fans of Ice Nine Kills and the Terrifier franchise love. And having our music video play in theaters after the film at last night’s special screenings was the ultimate honor and the ultimate way to pay homage to the cinematic horror that has inspired me and this band. The extended version of the video marks a new era of INK-related horror, but what that means will remain in my nightmares… for now. Psychos, we present to you what may very well be our most glorious and bloody offering yet, one that is sure to leave you speechless and terrified: ‘A Work of Art.’.”
