The legendary Hellfest Open Air returns in 2026 with an edition that promises to be etched in metal history. Under the banner "Tales from the Pit," the French festival will take place from June 18th to 21st at its usual venue in Clisson, featuring a lineup encompassing the best of metal, punk, and alternative rock.
Headliners include Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, Deep Purple and The Offspring, accompanied by a constellation of artists that includes Megadeth, Anthrax, Opeth, Volbeat, Sabaton, Bad Omens, Architects, Tom Morello, Papa Roach, Sepultura, Behemoth, A Perfect Circle, Alice Cooper, Rise Against, The Hives, Blood Incantation, Rotting Christ and Cult of Luna, among more than 180 bands spread across six stages.
In addition to the main acts, Hellfest 2026 will feature exclusive performances from Down, Behemoth, Mastodon, Slift, Agnostic Front, Decapitated, Rotting Christ and The Gathering, plus special shows like Mikkey Dee's tribute to Motörhead.
Each day offers a unique experience: from classic heavy metal and thrash to punk and alternative chaos. Highlights include Iron Maiden’s Run for Your Lives Tour, Mikkey Dee’s Motörhead tribute, and a closing punk riot led by The Offspring and The Hives.
